UCAR® Refractory Systems: LT1™ Thermocouple Protection Tube

LT1™ MetalCeramic Thermocouple Protection tube is a hard, abrasion-resistant, chromium and aluminum oxide composite. It has superior oxidation resistance to 2500 °F (1370 °C), thermal conductivity comparable to stainless steel, and good resistance to wetting by most liquid metals.
